EcoSwitch Campaign Program Manager​

About the Role:

You’ll lead Mission Green Global’s EcoSwitch Campaign: a youth-driven initiative empowering students to create tangible environmental change by helping local businesses switch from harmful products to sustainable alternatives. As Program Manager, you’ll oversee campaign development, volunteer coordination, and outreach to ensure meaningful, measurable impact in communities worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the EcoSwitch Campaign and the volunteers who partner with local businesses.

  • Develop and manage campaign toolkits, guides, and outreach materials for participants.

  • Train and mentor volunteers in sustainability communication, business engagement, and environmental advocacy.

  • Collect data and success stories demonstrating real-world impact.

  • Ensure alignment with Mission Green Global’s broader climate and advocacy goals.

Mission Green Global is a youth-led, international 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit organization committed to addressing climate change through education and advocacy. With over 50 active chapters in more than 35 countries, MGG empowers communities to take action toward a sustainable future through grassroots projects and global collaboration.

Role Description:

This part-time, remote role involves directing Mission Green Global’s EcoSwitch Campaign, which mobilizes youth volunteers (ages 13–18) to engage local businesses in adopting sustainable practices. The Program Manager will guide campaign strategy, support volunteers with research and outreach, and build partnerships with businesses adopting eco-friendly solutions. The role requires a mix of leadership, communication, and sustainability knowledge to ensure effective advocacy and visible environmental progress.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing volunteers or community projects.

  • Excellent communication abilities, especially in advocacy, outreach, or partnership building.

  • Familiarity with sustainability topics such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and green business operations.

  • Commitment to Mission Green Global’s mission and values, and a passion for empowering youth to lead environmental action.
