About the Role:

You’ll lead Mission Green Global’s communications strategy: sharing our stories, achievements, and impact with the world. As PR & Media Coordinator, you’ll work at the intersection of storytelling, media, and advocacy. You’ll connect with journalists, influencers, and organizations to spotlight MGG’s initiatives and help grow our presence across global platforms.​

What You’ll Do:

  • Write press releases, announcements, and blog features about MGG programs.

  • Pitch MGG’s stories to youth media, environmental outlets, and partner networks.

  • Build relationships with journalists, media platforms, and content collaborators.

  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Partnerships teams for campaigns and launches.

  • Track and report media coverage, engagement, and press outcomes.

With over 50 active chapters in more than 35 countries, MGG empowers communities to take action toward a sustainable future through grassroots projects and global collaboration.

Role Description:

This part-time, remote role involves managing Mission Green Global’s PR and media communications. The PR & Media Coordinator will oversee press outreach, storytelling, and content development to expand MGG’s visibility across audiences and organizations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, creative thinker, and passionate storyteller with an interest in sustainability​

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience or interest in public relations, journalism, or media outreach.

  • Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities.

  • Knowledge of sustainability and youth advocacy movements.

  • High school or university student with initiative and curiosity.
