Through this program, you can start and lead your own Mission Green Global Chapter.

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week

What does it take for you to start your own chapter? 

Passion to create environmental change, respect towards MGG policies, and dedication to working hard! You’ll also need to get a couple of friends and community members around you interested.
 

Yearly Requirements:

1. Have at least a 3 - Member Board (including you!) 

2. Help run Volunteering Program

3. Plan at least 4 events

4. Help Distribute Service Hours (just direct them to the missiongreenglobalmgg@gmail.com email!)

5. Manage Social Media for your Chapter

Note:

The Executive Team is composed of the original founders of Mission Green Global (Format: Director of [Title]), whereas the Chapter Board Team is composed of the board members you choose for your chapter (Format: [Title] Lead for [Chapter Name]).

Some Recommended Positions (first one mandatory, of course!)

1. The National/State/Province Lead shall convene regularly scheduled Board meetings for their chapter, supervise events, responsibilities, elections, and activities put forth by the Chapter (and requirements to run a chapter as set by Mission Green Global), and oversee board members and their duties.

2. The Finance Lead will oversee financial aspects of the Chapter and assist in the preparation of the budget, help develop fundraising plans, and make financial information available to Mission Green Global Executive Board members and the public.

3. The Publicity Lead will oversee media publicity aspects of the Chapter and direct social media and online media content.

4. The Logistics Lead will coordinate logistics needed to host events for the Chapter.

5. The Operations Lead will oversee volunteers belonging to that Chapter region.

6. The Outreach Lead will be responsible for planning and marketing future events for the Chapter (required yearly 4 events as mentioned in Step B!).

  • Conflict of Interest

    • There are two forms you must sign (Page 5 and 7), using your first and last name. Upload the PDF with your signed (names!) to the form below. This is just to make sure we can create branches of our program, and in no way do you require a lawyer - it is just to verify that you will not abuse our funds!

  • Chapter Application Form

    • Only the Chapter President/Lead has to turn this in, but make sure to include the names, emails, and prospective positions of your chosen board members!​

  • Join this Slack​ - this is required for all communications!
