Thank you for joining our reforestation movement. This program is open to anyone who wants to take action against climate change by addressing deforestation. Participation is simple: create your own initiative — whether it’s planting a few trees in your neighborhood, organizing a community event, or starting a larger project.

To help connect, share resources, and collaborate, we’ve created a Slack community. This is where members can exchange ideas, showcase progress, and support one another’s initiatives.

These initiatives will be supported by Roots of Tomorrow ©. We are excited to partner with them for their expertise and experience in youth-led tree-planting initiatives. They will provide guidance, support projects, and provide tips on leading your full-scale event. Once you join the Slack (instructions below), Roots of Tomorrow © will provide further onboarding instructions.

Follow the checklist below to get started:​​

1. Send an email to missiongreenglobalmgg@gmail.com and CC contact@rootsoftomorrow.org with your resume and 3-4 sentences detailing your interest/time commitment to this program, and if you have a team ready to help you.

2.  After your resume is reviewed, you will receive a Slack invitation by email. Click the link to join.

3. Set Up Your Profile

   • ​Slack will ask you to create an account or sign in if you already have one. Proceed as prompted, and set up your profile.

4. Explore

   • On this Slack will be instructions on how to proceed - people will be available to guide you and get you involved in our projects.

5. Good Luck!

   • Enjoy the journey! Serve our community, and have fun. 

   • Time commitment is dependent on you. Once you are onboarded, it is up to you to sign up to organize events and plant trees when you are available.
