About the Role:
You’ll lead Mission Green Global’s Ocean Film Festival: an international initiative uniting youth storytellers to explore how the ocean sustains, protects, and inspires us. Partnering with Bow Seat’s 2026 Ocean Awareness Contest and ALTEFF, this program combines creative filmmaking, environmental education, and global collaboration. As Program Manager, you’ll guide participants through workshops, film development, and festival coordination — shaping a platform that empowers young filmmakers to advocate for ocean conservation through art.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee planning and execution of the Ocean Film Festival, and managing partnerships.

Coordinate with international chapters to host both virtual and in-person events.

Develop and lead filmmaking workshops covering storyboarding, filming, and editing.

Supervise film review and feedback processes with judges and mentors.

Track participant progress and through contest deadlines and submission requirements.

Role Description:
This part-time, remote role involves leading Mission Green Global’s Ocean Film Festival, a storytelling initiative that merges creative filmmaking with ocean advocacy. The Program Manager will coordinate workshops, support participants through each stage of production, liaise with partners, and oversee both online and chapter-hosted screenings. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to bring together youth creators, environmental experts, and film professionals under one global mission.

Qualifications:

Strong skills in project or event management, ideally with experience in film, media, or environmental education.

Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.

Commitment to Mission Green Global’s values and passion for youth-led advocacy.

Knowledge of ocean conservation and environmental sustainability topics.
Familiarity with filmmaking processes, storytelling, or creative arts programs preferred.
