Blog Writing Program Manager

About the Role:

You’ll lead Mission Green Global’s Blog Writing Program: a creative initiative designed to educate communities about pressing environmental issues through youth-written blogs. From guiding volunteers through research and writing to curating impactful posts for publication, you’ll shape the voice of MGG’s global platform and inspire environmental awareness through storytelling.​

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the blog writing process from topic selection to publication.

  • Coordinate volunteer writers of all ages and provide editorial guidance.

  • Develop monthly or quarterly themes to align with MGG’s campaigns and initiatives.

  • Track participation and ensure volunteers receive service hour verification and feedback.

Role Description:

This part-time, remote role involves leading Mission Green Global’s Blog Writing Program, which educates the public on environmental issues through accessible, research-based blog posts. The Blog Program Manager will recruit, coordinate, and mentor volunteer writers, manage editing and publishing processes, and collaborate with other departments to promote blog content.​

Qualifications:

  • Strong written communication and editing skills.

  • Experience in content management, writing, or journalism preferred.

  • Ability to organize volunteers and manage multiple submissions simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with environmental topics and sustainability issues.

  • Commitment to Mission Green Global’s values and environmental advocacy.
